Notalgia paresthetica (NP) is considered a sensory mononeuropathy of unknown origin that presents with localized pruritus in dorsal segments T2 to T6. Notalgia paresthetica is a chronic sensory neuropathy characterized by pruritus of the upper to middle back, typically below the left shoulder blade. Sixty-one lesions in 43 patients were evaluated.
